The yoctometre (International spelling as used by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures; SI symbol: ym) or yoctometer (American spelling) is an SI measure of length that is equal to 10−24 (yocto) of a metre. It is the smallest named subdivision of the metre in the SI base unit of length.
The rod or perch or pole is a surveyors tool and unit of length equal to 5 1⁄2 yards, 16 1⁄2 feet, 1⁄320 of a statute mile or one-fourth of a surveyor's chain and 5.0292 meters.
